Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups of pumpkin puree
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon of ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup of evaporated milk
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- Whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
- Add eggs and evaporated milk, and mix until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 40-50 minutes.
- Let it cool before serving.
- Top with whipped cream before serving.
Notes
- Can be made a day in advance.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Serve with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
