  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and coat them well with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the leftover marinade.
  5. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
