Description

  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey, plus more for drizzling
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, plus more for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices sourdough bread

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine the crumbled feta cheese, olive oil, honey, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Toast the sourdough bread slices until golden brown.
  4. Spread the whipped feta mixture generously on each slice of toasted sourdough.
  5. Drizzle additional honey over the top and garnish with extra thyme leaves before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the feta mixture.
