- 8 oz (227 g) feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey, plus more for drizzling
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, plus more for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices sourdough bread
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine the crumbled feta cheese, olive oil, honey, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Toast the sourdough bread slices until golden brown.
- Spread the whipped feta mixture generously on each slice of toasted sourdough.
- Drizzle additional honey over the top and garnish with extra thyme leaves before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the feta mixture.
- This recipe can be easily doubled for a larger gathering.
