Description
A refreshing watermelon sorbet made using an ice cream maker, perfect for hot summer days.
Ingredients

- 4 cups Seedless watermelon, cubed
- 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- to taste Fresh mint leaves (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the cubed watermelon, sugar, lemon juice, and salt.
- Blend until smooth, then strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl to remove any pulp.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour, or until chilled.
- Once chilled, pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, usually about 20-25 minutes.
- Transfer the sorbet to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours to firm up.
- Scoop the sorbet into bowls and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
