Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the cubed watermelon, sugar, lemon juice, and salt.
  2. Blend until smooth, then strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl to remove any pulp.
  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour, or until chilled.
  4. Once chilled, pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, usually about 20-25 minutes.
  5. Transfer the sorbet to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours to firm up.
  6. Scoop the sorbet into bowls and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
