Description

A refreshing and delicious watermelon lemonade, perfect for hot summer days.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups watermelon, seeded and cubed
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the watermelon cubes and blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the watermelon juice through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove pulp.
  3. Add the fresh lemon juice and sugar to the watermelon juice. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  4. Pour in the cold water and stir to combine. Adjust sweetness if necessary.
  5. Serve over ice in glasses and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • For a less sweet version, reduce the sugar or use a sugar substitute.
  • This recipe can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
