These turkey meatballs are juicy and flavorful, simmered in a rich marinara sauce for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a large skillet over medium heat.
  6. Once the meatballs are cooked, add them to the marinara sauce and simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  7. Serve the turkey meatballs in marinara over pasta, rice, or on their own.
