- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
- Buttercream frosting for decoration

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
- Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes until well combined.
- Stir in the boiling water until the batter is smooth. If using, fold in chocolate chips.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool the cakes in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove them from the pans and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once the cakes are cool, frost with buttercream frosting and decorate with gold sprinkles to represent Taurus.
