This hearty tatertot casserole combines ground beef, creamy soup, and crispy tater tots for a filling and delicious meal that’s easy to prepare.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 bag (32 ounces) frozen tater tots
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, shredded cheddar cheese, frozen mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer over the beef mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add cooked bacon bits or top with more cheese before baking.
- Feel free to substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
