  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 8 taco shells
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • Sour cream and salsa for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning mix and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. While the beef mixture simmers, prepare taco shells according to package instructions.
  5. Once the beef mixture is ready, spoon it into the taco shells.
  6. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
  7. Serve with sour cream and salsa on the side.
