- 12 large mushrooms, stems removed
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, parsley, thyme, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Stuff each mushroom cap generously with the cream cheese mixture, pressing down slightly to pack it in.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the cheese mixture.
- Make sure to clean the mushrooms gently with a damp cloth to remove any dirt.
