- 12 large mushrooms, stems removed
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, parsley, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Stuff each mushroom cap with the cream cheese mixture, pressing lightly to ensure it’s filled.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- You can add cooked sausage or bacon to the filling for extra flavor.
- Feel free to substitute different herbs based on your preference.
- These stuffed mushrooms can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
