- 1 French baguette
- 2 cups Fresh strawberries
- 1/4 cup Fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons Balsamic glaze
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange the sliced baguette on a baking sheet. Brush each slice with olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the diced strawberries, chopped basil, salt, and black pepper. Gently toss to combine.
- Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly.
- Top each slice of toasted bread with a generous spoonful of the strawberry-basil mixture.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze over the bruschetta just before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider adding a sprinkle of feta cheese or goat cheese on top of the bruschetta.
