Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with cornstarch, soy sauce, and pepper. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add garlic and ginger, stir-frying for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until just tender.
  5. Return the beef to the pan and add oyster sauce. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Serve hot over cooked rice.
