- 1 cup of unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups of granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 3 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of buttermilk
- Green food coloring
- 1 cup of green sprinkles
- 1 cup of white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, alternating with the buttermilk. Mix until just combined.
- Add green food coloring until desired color is achieved, mixing well.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Top with green sprinkles.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
- For a fun twist, you can add mint extract to the batter for a minty flavor.
