Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour and baking powder.
  4. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  6. Mix in vanilla extract.
  7. Alternately add flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture.
  8. Fold in chopped strawberries and blueberries.
  9. Pour batter into prepared pans.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let cakes cool before removing from pans.
  12. Frost with whipped cream and decorate with edible flowers.
