- 6 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- black olives for decoration
- peppercorns for decoration
Instructions
- Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot and covering them with water.
- Bring the water to a boil, then cover the pot and remove it from heat, letting the eggs sit for 10-12 minutes.
- Once cooked, transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool for about 5 minutes.
- Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
- Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Add mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper to the yolks and mix thoroughly until smooth.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
- Cut black olives in half and place them on top of the yolk filling to create a spider shape.
- Use peppercorns to represent the spider’s legs.
- Chill the deviled eggs in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
