Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 flatbreads (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground lamb and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon.
  2. Stir in the cumin, coriander, cinnamon, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the lamb is cooked through and fragrant.
  3. While the lamb is cooking, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet and spread the spiced lamb mixture evenly over each flatbread.
  5. Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese on top of the lamb.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the flatbreads are crispy and the cheese is slightly melted.
  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley and mint.
  8. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the flatbreads.
