Description
A refreshing and bubbly raspberry punch perfect for parties and celebrations.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh raspberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 cups water
- 1 liter lemon-lime soda (chilled)
- 2 cups cranberry juice
- Ice cubes
- Mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine raspberries, sugar, and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Once cooled, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the raspberry seeds. You should have a raspberry syrup.
- In a large punch bowl, combine the raspberry syrup, cranberry juice, and remaining 3 cups of water. Stir well.
- Just before serving, slowly pour in the chilled lemon-lime soda to add fizz.
- Serve over ice cubes and garnish with mint leaves.
Notes
- For a more intense raspberry flavor, let the syrup cool overnight in the refrigerator before using.
- This punch can be made ahead of time, just add the soda just before serving to keep it fizzy.
- Feel free to add other fruits like sliced lemons or strawberries for added flavor and decoration.
