  • 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • to taste Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the milk until just combined.
  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently about 5 times until it comes together.
  6. Roll out to about 1-inch thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter.
  7. Place biscuits on a baking sheet and brush the tops with milk.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned.
  10. Sprinkle the flour over the cooked sausage and stir to combine.
  11. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
  12. Season with black pepper and salt to taste.
