- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup green sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until smooth.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
- Fold in the green sprinkles.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- For variation, try different colored sprinkles.
- Do not overbake for softer cookies.
