- 4 Large eggs
- for ice bath Ice water
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 270°F (132°C).
- Place the eggs directly in the air fryer basket.
- Cook the eggs for 12 to 13 minutes depending on how runny you prefer your yolks.
- While the eggs are cooking, prepare an ice bath by filling a bowl with ice and cold water.
- Once the cooking time is up, carefully transfer the eggs to the ice bath using tongs.
- Let the eggs sit in the ice bath for about 5 minutes to stop the cooking process.
- Gently tap the eggs on a hard surface to crack the shell and peel under running water for easier shell removal.
- Serve the soft boiled eggs with a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
Notes
- Adjust the cooking time based on your air fryer model and desired yolk consistency.
- For firmer yolks, increase cooking time by a minute.
