This refreshing and fruity sangria is perfect for summer gatherings or any celebration. Made with red wine, fresh fruits, and a splash of brandy, it’s an easy and delicious way to enjoy a classic Spanish drink.

- 1 bottle (750ml) red wine (Spanish Tempranillo or Garnacha recommended)
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur (like Triple Sec or Cointreau)
- 1/4 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed is best)
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 lime, sliced
- 1 apple, cored and diced
- 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 2 cups soda water or lemon-lime soda (to taste)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, brandy, orange liqueur, and orange juice.
- Add the sliced orange, lemon, lime, diced apple, and strawberries to the pitcher.
- Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.
- Refrigerate the sangria for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
- Before serving, add soda water or lemon-lime soda to taste for a fizzy finish.
- Serve over ice and enjoy!
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less soda.
- Feel free to customize with your favorite fruits or herbs like mint.
- For a white sangria, substitute white wine and use lighter fruits like peaches or berries.
