  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

This refreshing and fruity sangria is perfect for summer gatherings or any celebration. Made with red wine, fresh fruits, and a splash of brandy, it’s an easy and delicious way to enjoy a classic Spanish drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle (750ml) red wine (Spanish Tempranillo or Garnacha recommended)
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur (like Triple Sec or Cointreau)
  • 1/4 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed is best)
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 lime, sliced
  • 1 apple, cored and diced
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 cups soda water or lemon-lime soda (to taste)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, brandy, orange liqueur, and orange juice.
  2. Add the sliced orange, lemon, lime, diced apple, and strawberries to the pitcher.
  3. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.
  4. Refrigerate the sangria for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Before serving, add soda water or lemon-lime soda to taste for a fizzy finish.
  6. Serve over ice and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less soda.
  • Feel free to customize with your favorite fruits or herbs like mint.
  • For a white sangria, substitute white wine and use lighter fruits like peaches or berries.
