Ingredients

  • 2 pounds large shrimp, deveined
  • 1 pound small red potatoes, halved
  • 1 pound corn on the cob, cut into thirds
  • 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 lemon, quartered
  • 4 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • Water, enough to fill a large pot
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with water and add Old Bay seasoning, lemon, garlic, and onion. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add potatoes to the boiling water and cook for about 10-15 minutes, or until tender.
  3. Add corn to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the shrimp and cook for about 3-5 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  5. Drain the pot and spread the shrimp, potatoes, and corn on a large serving platter or newspaper.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, add sliced sausage to the boil.
  • Adjust the amount of Old Bay seasoning to taste.
  • Serve with melted butter and cocktail sauce for dipping.
