Description
A classic shrimp boil recipe filled with flavors of the sea and spices, perfect for gatherings and summer cookouts.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds large shrimp, deveined
- 1 pound small red potatoes, halved
- 1 pound corn on the cob, cut into thirds
- 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning
- 1 lemon, quartered
- 4 cloves garlic, smashed
- 1 onion, quartered
- Water, enough to fill a large pot
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Fill a large pot with water and add Old Bay seasoning, lemon, garlic, and onion. Bring to a boil.
- Add potatoes to the boiling water and cook for about 10-15 minutes, or until tender.
- Add corn to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Stir in the shrimp and cook for about 3-5 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Drain the pot and spread the shrimp, potatoes, and corn on a large serving platter or newspaper.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
- For an extra kick, add sliced sausage to the boil.
- Adjust the amount of Old Bay seasoning to taste.
- Serve with melted butter and cocktail sauce for dipping.
