- 2 tuna steaks (6 ounces each)
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds (white and black)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon ponzu sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, ponzu sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- Coat each tuna steak with sesame seeds on both sides, pressing gently to adhere.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the tuna steaks to the skillet and sear for 1-2 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or cook to your desired doneness.
- Remove from heat and let rest for a minute before slicing.
- Serve the sliced tuna steaks drizzled with the sauce and garnished with chopped green onions.
