- 200g mixed seafood (shrimp, squid, and fish balls)
- 100g seblak crackers (or kerupuk)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 shallots, sliced
- 2 red chilies, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 green onions, chopped for garnish
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- Soak the seblak crackers in warm water for about 10 minutes until they soften. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, sliced shallots, and red chilies. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add the mixed seafood to the skillet and cook until they are just cooked through.
- Stir in the sweet soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Add the softened seblak crackers and water. Stir to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well-coated and heated through.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions.
- Serve hot with lime wedges on the side.
Notes
- Adjust the spiciness by adding more or fewer chilies.
- Feel free to use any seafood of your choice.
