- 2 lbs Russet potatoes
- 1 whole garlic bulb
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup warm milk

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wrap the entire garlic bulb in aluminum foil and roast it in the oven for about 30-35 minutes until soft and caramelized.
- While the garlic is roasting, peel and chop the potatoes into even-sized chunks.
- Place the chopped potatoes in a large pot and cover them with cold water.
- Add a pinch of salt to the water and bring it to a boil over high heat.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium and cook the potatoes for about 15-20 minutes or until fork-tender.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Squeeze the roasted garlic cloves out of their skins and add them to the potatoes.
- Add the warm milk and butter to the pot with the potatoes and garlic.
