Description

A deliciously patriotic cheesecake featuring layers of red strawberries, creamy white cheesecake, and blue blueberries, perfect for celebrating holidays like the Fourth of July.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 2 (8 oz) packages Cream cheese
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 cup Strawberries
  • 1 cup Blueberries
  • for topping Whipped cream
  • for garnish Fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the crumb mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add vanilla extract and sour cream to the cream cheese mixture, mixing until well combined.
  6. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing just until incorporated after each addition.
  7. Pour half of the cheesecake batter over the cooled crust. Spread evenly.
  8. Layer the sliced strawberries evenly over the batter.
  9. Pour the remaining cheesecake batter on top of the strawberries, smoothing the top.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set and slightly jiggly.
  11. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door slightly ajar for 1 hour.
  12. Remove from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  13. Before serving, top with blueberries and whipped cream. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
