A delightful twist on the classic tiramisu, featuring layers of delicate raspberry and fragrant rose flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 2 cups mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon rose water
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  2. In another bowl, combine mascarpone cheese and rose water until smooth.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
  4. Dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee for a couple of seconds to soak them slightly.
  5. In a serving dish, layer half of the soaked ladyfingers at the bottom.
  6. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, then add half of the raspberries on top.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and raspberries.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  9. Before serving, garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Notes

  • For a more intense raspberry flavor, you can blend some of the raspberries into a puree and layer it between the mascarpone.
  • Feel free to adjust the amount of rose water to taste, as it can be quite fragrant.
