Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add marinara sauce and Italian seasoning to the beef. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce.
  6. Layer 3 lasagna noodles on top, followed by ricotta cheese, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Repeat layering two more times, finishing with meat sauce and Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  9. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
