- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup water
- 8 small taco shells
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- Sour cream for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef and onion. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- While the beef is cooking, warm the taco shells according to package instructions.
- Assemble the tacos by filling each shell with the beef mixture, then top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and a dollop of sour cream.
