Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef or turkey over medium heat. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, corn, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
