These delightful pumpkin spice donuts combine the warmth of spices with the sweetness of pumpkin, making them a perfect fall treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, milk, vegetable oil, and egg until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Do not overmix the batter to ensure a light and fluffy texture.
  6. Grease a donut pan with non-stick spray.
  7. Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
  10. Let the donuts cool slightly before glazing.
  11. Serve warm or at room temperature.
