Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, milk, vegetable oil, and egg until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Do not overmix the batter to ensure a light and fluffy texture.
- Grease a donut pan with non-stick spray.
- Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
- Let the donuts cool slightly before glazing.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
