Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup nuts or chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sugar, evaporated milk, eggs, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Mix the ingredients until well combined.
  4. Pour the pumpkin mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture.
  6. Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the cake mix.
