- 2 lbs pork shoulder
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 12 slider buns
- 1 cup coleslaw
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder.
- Place the pork shoulder in a roasting pan and cover it tightly with foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 4 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily pulls apart.
- Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- Shred the pork using two forks, then mix in the barbecue sauce.
- To assemble the sliders, place a generous amount of pulled pork on each slider bun and top with coleslaw.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- You can use a slow cooker for this recipe; cook on low for 8 hours instead.
- Feel free to customize the coleslaw with your favorite ingredients.
