Description
This Pistachio Honey Baklava Cheesecake combines the rich flavors of cheesecake with the sweet, nutty goodness of baklava. A perfect dessert for any occasion.

- 1 1/2 cups crushed pistachios
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup phyllo dough, thawed
- 1/4 cup additional crushed pistachios for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine crushed pistachios and melted butter. Mix well.
- Press the pistachio mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to create the crust.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth.
- Add sour cream, eggs, vanilla extract, honey, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the cheesecake batter over the pistachio crust in the springform pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set and the edges are lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, sprinkle additional crushed pistachios on top for garnish.
Notes
- Make sure to thaw phyllo dough in the refrigerator overnight before using.
- For a richer flavor, consider adding more honey to the cheesecake batter.
