Celebrate your graduation with these delightful pink graduation cookies, perfect for any graduation party. These soft and chewy cookies are decorated with a sweet pink icing, making them as beautiful as they are delicious.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 cup pink icing (store-bought or homemade)
  • Sprinkles for decoration (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla and almond extracts.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
  8. Once cooled, decorate each cookie with pink icing and add sprinkles if desired.

Notes

  • For a deeper pink color, you can add a few drops of pink food coloring to the icing.
  • These cookies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
