- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup (125g) creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup (60ml) milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until combined.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- In a separate bowl, mix peanut butter and milk until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture over the brownie batter.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter on top and swirl gently with a knife to create a marbled effect.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add chocolate chips to the brownie batter.
- Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
