- 6 cups fresh peaches, pitted and sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches, granulated sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Toss to coat evenly and set aside.
- In another bowl, mix together the oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and salt until crumbly.
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spread the peach mixture evenly across the bottom.
- Sprinkle the oat topping over the peaches evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delicious treat.
