- 2 large onions, sliced into 1/4-inch rings
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko recommended for extra crunch)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, add the beaten eggs.
- In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
- Dip each onion ring into the flour mixture, then the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Arrange the coated onion rings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking.
- Feel free to add your favorite spices to the breadcrumb mixture for extra flavor.
