- 2 lbs of chicken breast, boneless and skinless
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1/2 tsp of black pepper
- 1 tsp of Italian seasoning
- 1 lb of asparagus, trimmed
- 1 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Season the chicken breast with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In a bowl, combine heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Pour this mixture over the chicken in the skillet.
- Add asparagus and cherry tomatoes around the chicken. Gently stir to combine.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the asparagus is tender.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
