Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Core the apples, making sure to leave the bottom intact.
- In a bowl, mix the chopped pecans, maple syrup, and cinnamon.
- Stuff the mixture generously into the cored apples.
- Place the stuffed apples in a baking dish.
- Dot the tops of the apples with butter.
- Pour a little water into the bottom of the baking dish to help steam the apples.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the apples are tender.
- Remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
