  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour, salt, pepper, and paprika until smooth.
  4. Gradually whisk in the milk, cooking until thickened and bubbly.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar and Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Combine the cheese sauce with the cooked macaroni and mix well.
  7. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish. If desired, sprinkle bread crumbs on top.
