Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Mix well.
  2. Add the ground beef to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the marinated ground beef until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. In the same skillet, add broccoli and carrots, sautéing until tender, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Serve the beef mixture over cooked rice and top with sautéed vegetables.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas.
