- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup carrots, julienned
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Mix well.
- Add the ground beef to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the marinated ground beef until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
- In the same skillet, add broccoli and carrots, sautéing until tender, about 3-5 minutes.
- Serve the beef mixture over cooked rice and top with sautéed vegetables.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas.
- This dish can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
