Deliciously marinated and grilled Korean BBQ chicken, bursting with flavor and perfect for any meal.

- 1 pound chicken thighs or breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, gochujang, and black pepper. Whisk until well mixed.
- Place the chicken in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag or cover the dish and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the leftover marinade.
- Grill the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Slice the chicken and serve topped with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
