Description
Tender and flavorful Korean BBQ beef marinated in a delicious sesame-soy sauce, grilled to perfection.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame seeds, and chopped green onions.
- Add the sliced flank steak to the marinade and mix well, ensuring all pieces are coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the beef from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off.
- Grill the beef slices for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove from the grill and let the beef rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve with steamed rice and your favorite side dishes.
Notes
- For best flavor, marinate the beef overnight.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms to the grill.
- Adjust the level of sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
