Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place chicken thighs in the crock pot.
  2. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Remove chicken and set aside.
  6. Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the sauce in the crock pot.
  7. Cook on high for 15 minutes until thickened.
  8. Return chicken to the pot and coat with sauce.
