Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and peel the potatoes. Using a mandoline or a sharp knife, slice the potatoes thinly, about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the potato slices with olive oil and salt until evenly coated. Add any optional seasonings if desired.
  4. Spread the potato slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Ensure they are not overlapping.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chips are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your homemade potato chips!

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, soak the potato slices in cold water for 30 minutes before drying and baking.
