Ingredients

  • 2 large Potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt (Adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper (Optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika (Optional for flavor)

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes. Slice them thinly using a mandoline or a sharp knife.
  2. Soak the potato slices in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  3. Drain and pat the potato slices dry with a clean towel.
  4. In a bowl, toss the potato slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
  6. Arrange the potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to work in batches.
  7. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the chips are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, you can sprinkle with additional salt after frying.
