- 2 large Potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold recommended)
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt (Adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon Pepper (Optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon Paprika (Optional for flavor)
Instructions
- Wash and peel the potatoes. Slice them thinly using a mandoline or a sharp knife.
- Soak the potato slices in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
- Drain and pat the potato slices dry with a clean towel.
- In a bowl, toss the potato slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
- Arrange the potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to work in batches.
- Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the chips are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can sprinkle with additional salt after frying.
- Experiment with different seasonings such as garlic powder or chili powder for varied flavors.
- Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure even cooking.
