- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups blue frosting
- 1 cup yellow frosting

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the softened butter to the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs with the vanilla extract and milk until well combined.
- Gradually add the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full with the batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and allow the cupcakes to cool completely on a wire rack.
- Once cooled, frost the cupcakes with blue frosting, making a swirl on top.
- Use yellow frosting to create graduation caps or other decorations on top.
- Add any additional graduation-themed decorations as desired.
Notes
- Feel free to customize the frosting colors to match the school colors.
- These cupcakes can be made a day in advance; just store them in an airtight container.
