- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup water
- 8 small taco shells
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- Sour cream (optional)
- Salsa (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and diced onion. Cook until the beef is browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- While the beef mixture is cooking, warm the taco shells according to package instructions.
- Assemble the tacos by filling each shell with the beef mixture and topping with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and any additional toppings you desire.
- Serve immediately with sour cream and salsa on the side.
